Great looking historical piece
I took one look and was immediately transported to a childhood viewing of the 1939 drama Drums Along the Mohawk. The Colonial settlers in that classic movie were all armed with muskets like this.

Just okay
My son like this rifle but the caps part is awful. Takes him 10-30 times to get it to go off. We have tried everything to improve it. I looked at all of them on this website and read the reviews, this one seems the most durable but the cap part just doesn't work well.

Fun memories
My 25 year old son had this rifle 15-20 years ago, still has it but not in the best of shape. His 5 year old son plays with the old gun faithfully so I looked it up and saw it on your website!! Had to get it for him. He doesn't use the caps yet but loves having a newer gun.l

Seems cheaply made
This gun wasn't what I expected it to be. I'm sure my son will have fun with it, but I dont know how long it will last before it breaks.

Kentucky Rifle
I purchased this a replacement for my grandson whose Kentucky Long Rifle was broken and I was not able to repair it because of where the brake was. Your rifle is about a foot shorter than the long rifle but that doesn't matter

Loved It
We were delighted with the gun. My seven year old grandson had just viewed a video series on the U.S. Revolutionary War. He jumped up and down with joy when he opened his birthday present, the gun. He plays with it regularly.

Great Replica
We purchased this for a Daniel Boone costume. It has turned really well and the Kentucky Flintlock Rife just added the right look.

6 Questions
Why did you choose this?

My 9 year old son loves it!

Purchased for the American Heritage Festival.

I chose this because it has a "flintlock" instead of the all-too-common "percussion lock" variant.

To complete my son's Halloween costume as a civil war union soldier.

You will not ship to California?

Toy guns cannot be shipped to CA per CA, not us.

Do you ship to the philippines?

This item only ships to the contiguous US.

Do you have a toy rifle that would have been used in 1620?

That is for you to research =)

How long does it last?

It is VERY durable! I bought this gun in 2015 as a Christmas gift for my son and he still plays with it! It's metal and wood and heavy (not too heavy). It has been a great toy and display piece!

Do you ship to the uk?

Yes, we ship to the UK for most items but we are unable to ship this particular item out of the U.S.
