Description
The Write One Handbook for Young Writers gives young children a gentle introduction to writing and reading. Beginning with the process of writing, children learn the forms of writing (personal, subject, research, story, and poetry), listening and speaking skills, and reading and word study skills. The publisher offers a free Digital Teacher Guide that includes a weekly schedule, scope and sequence, guides to assess student writing, additional activities and handouts, and more. Scheduled in the Teacher Guide, the optional Write One SkillsBook teaches grammar, punctuation, capitals, plurals, and sentences. It also includes additional writing practice with lists, notes, letters, stories, and descriptions, as well as a personal word dictionary. Available separately, the Write One SkillsBook Teacher Guide provides reduced student pages with answers. The Write One Package includes the Handbook, SkillsBook, and the SkillsBook Teacher Guide.
