Story of the World Volume 4 Combo Pack
A one-stop shop! This package includes everything a student needs to study Volume 4 of Story of the World, PLUS an additional set of the consumable Student Pages in a bound format (also in the included Activity Book). This package is for you if you want to save the consumable pages from the Activity Book for another child later, sell the book when done with it, or have two students needing the consumable pages. While student pages from the activity book can also be photocopied, it may be more economical to purchase them in bound format. Photocopy rights only extend to family use, not co-ops or classrooms. This package specifically includes a softcover reader in the materials which provide a year-long study of Modern Age history.
Enthusiastic users of Susan Wise Bauer's Story of the World will be excited to rediscover the modern era, "From Victoria's Empire to the End of the USSR." This text contains 42 chapters discussing some of the major people, places and events in world history, from 1850 to 2000. Some highlights include: the Crimean war, the American Civil War, the Second Reich, the Japan's Meiji restoration, the Suez canal, the Boers, Western expansion in the U.S., the Boxer Rebellion in China, the Mexican Revolution, the rise of Joseph Stalin, Hitler's rise to power, the Holocaust, the Atom bomb, the partitioning of Palestine, the Cold War, the Vietnam War, Chernobyl, the end of Communism, and much more. Once again, Susan Wise Bauer has put together a very exciting and multi-faceted history study that everyone will love! The text is available in either paperback or hardcover. The activity book is a bound paperback. - Jess
we ordered these in the past and we loved them
We have done the other three and my kids love this curriculum. The activities are easy and fun to do.
It's a great deal for the entire bundle.
This book was recommended to me by my friend, who teaches her kids at home.
