Smithsonian Spanish Readers

These beginner readers are completely in Spanish. The topics are delightful, featuring animals and weather. Real photos and colorful pages add to the appeal. To check the reader’s understanding, there are 2 pages with a problem presented for the reader to solve. Two comprehension questions inside the back cover encourage even more discussion. Each book is 20-24 pages and measures 7 x9”. While these are designed for young Spanish-speaking students, a student learning Spanish could use these for practice too! Lexile scores and Guided Reading Levels are listed under each book.
