Spanish
for Children is a
friendly beginner Spanish program for students between about 3rd
grade and 6th grade. Parents do not need to know Spanish themselves.
There are 2 levels, A and B, each covering a traditional school year. This is
an excellent lead-in to high school Spanish.
Primer A (Level 1) has 37 weekly chapters. Each chapter has a memory page,
grammar page, fun worksheet, and a quiz. Students learn common vocabulary
(including nouns & gender), conjugating verbs, conversation, and
constructing sentences. Here is our complete package. You can add the novel, Tin Bot to your Primer A experience!
It’s a mystery that slowly immerses students into Spanish.
Primer B (Level 2) has 32 weekly chapters that emphasize grammar with expanded
dialogs, stories, songs, and chants. Weekly worksheets and quizzes are
included. Here is our complete package.
Consumable Student Worktexts are called “Primers”. In place of the pronunciation CD, you
have an access code to digital files.
The Answer Key is a copy of the worksheet
and quizzes in the Primer with the answers filled in. This book
does not include every page from the Primer - only those with
answers.
Instructional Videos are available if the instructor is not familiar with Spanish.
Each lesson (approx. 15 min each) features the author, Julia Kraut. The
students chant their weekly grammar work.

It will depend some on the age of your student. If they are a high school student or even a strong junior high school student, then you should probably take a look at Breaking the Spanish Barrier.
