This package includes all student and teacher materials for Grade 5 math, ELA, science and social studies. We chose a mix of Christian and secular publishers to provide the richest options at the best price point for our families. Math Mammoth and Handwriting Skills Simplified are not from Christian publishers. ~Sara

Our Rainbow Starter Packages for grades K-8 are budget-friendly, easy to use, and academically solid. Math Mammoth is used through Grade 7 with Christian Light Algebra used in 8th grade. Language arts includes Adventures in Phonics (lower grades), Climbing to Good English, Pathway Readers, (both from Amish Publishers with Christian content) and Handwriting Skills Simplified. History uses Christian Liberty Press through 6th grade and Short Lessons in U.S. and World History for 7th and 8th. Science uses Christian Liberty for K-3 and John Hudson Tiner courses (with Memoria Press guides) in Grades 4-8.

Wow, great lineup!
Disclaimer-- I haven't actually purchased this set-- I was just on RR shopping for new workbooks for next year and saw it-- and it's exactly everything we use now after 5 years of homeschooling-- love it! Granted, I'm biased because we already use all these materials (except the handwriting-- can't speak to that one, have never used it), but this is, IMHO, the perfect "starter set" if you're new to homeschooling!

We loved the economy package for Grade 4 and Grade 5 looks just as good.
