Piece together your own F-35B STOVL Lightning II with this COBI building block set! Part of COBI’s Armed Forces Collection, this set contains all the blocks needed to construct the American supersonic fighter.
The F-35B STOVL Lightning II is an American supersonic stealth fighter jet that first entered service in 2015. It has a wide range of capabilities, such as air superiority, airstrikes, intelligence, surveillance, and electronic warfare. This STOVL version of the F-35B is capable of short take-offs and vertical landings, hence the acronym. F-35Bs can carry a payload of up to 15,000 lbs consisting of a large variety of missiles and bombs. Missiles include air-to-air, air-to-surface, and anti-ship, while bombs range from precision-guided to nuclear. The fighter’s top speed is an incredible 806 mph, which is faster than the speed of sound!
This 1:48 scale model features movable wing flaps and hatches, a cockpit that opens, and retractable wheels that function when the plane is rolled. A pilot minifigure and display stand are also included. Perfect for aviation and military enthusiasts ages 7+, this set brings the F-35B STOVL to life in incredible detail!
