Description
Adapting Shakespeare without losing the eloquence of the author is a feat in itself. Compiling several stories for a reader is a task taken on by brother/sister duo Charles and Mary Lamb in the 1700s. Their story itself is one for the books! While an adaptation, this is not in modern English like a parallel version would be. It is, however, quite readable and dare I say, enjoyable.
