Grasshopper and the Ant Game (Tales & Games #4)
- Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
In this guessing game, players take turns acting as the Grasshopper and the Ant. The ant player begins by forming a chain of ants across up to 4 types of landscape cards; the ant player then picks a landscape from that chain secretly. The grasshopper player must then guess which landscape the ant player chose, and if correct, will win the landscape cards and earns points. For 2-4 players. 30 minutes.
"The Grasshopper, who experienced a bummer after the summer, was made to feel foolish by this wee Ant oh so mulish. Craving vengeance as an attacker, a plan sprouted in this insect slacker: Follow the Ant to some remote field, in order to steal his precious yield.
Pass the winter without unpleasant side effects: Alternate playing as the Grasshopper or the Ant, and gather the provisions that will lead you to victory!"
