When I was a new homeschooling mother of early learners, I asked several homeschool moms' what curriculum or material they would choose. For the most part, their advice was to let them learn as much as possible by play while they are little. Well, this set would be a great addition to a home classroom or preschool for that very reason. There are numerous ways to use the translucent sheets for patterning, sorting, building and just plain imaginative play. There are twelve translucent printed cards to use as base cards. There are harder translucent plastic multicolor shapes. There are four each of large and small squares, circles, triangles, rectangles, and hexagons. This set would be fun to use with a portable light table or tablet. ~ Judy
