Publisher's Description of Scotch Purple Glue Sticks,0.28 oz - pack of 2
Scotch® Purple Glue Sticks are strong, fast-bonding, and no mess. Purple is easy to see when applied, but dries clear. Great for paper, fabrics, and other lightweight items. Cleans off hands and household surfaces with soap and water. Washes cleanly out of most fabrics. Non-toxic and acid free - Ph above 7.0, conforms to ASTMD-4236.
A big thumbs-up to the wonderful people at 3M, whose sole purpose (I think) is to create products to make our lives easier. Once again they have lived up to their reputation with these glue sticks, available with permanent and repositionable glue. Both are safe for use on paper, fabric, and photographs. They bond quickly, are acid-free and non-toxic. To remove residue from hands or household surfaces just use soap and water. We give a big thanks to one of our customers who not only requested that we carry these, but also gave us a great idea for using the repositionable glue stick. I'm sure we can all relate to the never-ending task of finding and keeping together all of those paper doll clothes. Well, the problem is solved by using the repositionable stick to adhere the doll clothes onto notebook pages where they can be kept in an organized fashion. When it's playtime, they can be easily removed from the notebook and stuck directly to the doll - no more hassling with those little paper tabs. So whether you're looking for a permanent glue stick for scrap booking, arts and crafts, or class projects - or a repositionable stick for games, photo albums or paper doll clothes, you can't go wrong with these! The purple glue is easy to see when applied, then dries clear. Washable refers to the clean up (not machine washable). Alysia
