When I measure length, is it 90 feet from tree to tree, or do I need to allow for attaching to the trees within the 90 feet? (Is 90 feet the total length or is the length needed to attach to the tree seperate?
One end of the 90' will go around one tree. The other end attaches to a short cable and the turnbuckle. The run will be shy of 90' depending on the circumference of the tree. You may find the video here helpful!
The supplier is telling us late July/early August 2021.

How high of a starting spot do you need to use the full 90 feet?

There can be variety. The zipline comes with recommendations in terms of height. According to a staff person who has used the ziplines, 7' height to 4' is workable. He has tried 12' to 6' but only with older children who are comfortable with heights and are athletic (in general).
