Publisher's Description of Wolverine (North American Wildlife)
The largest member of the weasel family, the wolverine is a ferocious and carnivorous mammal that can be found primarily in the northern United States, Canada, Alaska, Russia, Siberia, and the Nordic European countries.
History: Although wolverines are classified as an animal of least concern, their worldwide population numbers are unknown. This is mainly due to the fact that wolverines have a naturally low population density, and are constantly roaming over large distances. However, due to human development and encroachment, wolverines have slowly been pushed out of many of their endemic habitats.
Scientific Name: Gulo gulo
Characteristics: Like all Safari figurines, this wolverine toy model has been hand painted and professionally crafted for optimal accuracy and realism. Wolverines are incredibly fierce, and as a result have very new natural predators, reflected in the dominant strut of this model.
Size: 3.75 inches long and 2 inches tall, our wolverine toy figurine is the size of a deck of cards stood on its side.
What beautiful representations of favorite North American wildlife! These hand-painted, detailed, realistic-looking figures each come with an educational hang tag. Figures are about 3"- 4" long and 1.5"-3" tall.
