Very pleased
My 10 year old son got this from his grandparents for Christmas. He was very excited about it. Now that hes played with it a bunch, we have learned a few things about it. The axes are bigger than I expected, but very lightweight. They are not remotely dangerous since they are made of foam. Just like in throwing actual axes, it is difficult to get the axe to hit blade first on the target. My son appreciates this because he finds it challenging. For my less coordinated children, they would be bored quickly after not getting it to stick after multiple tries. We put the target (which is like a small rolled up laminated paper target) on a window, and the suction cups seem to stick better there than on a wall. It seems to me that practicing with this could potentially help with real axe throwing when hes older. My son will play with this for a long time to come. Despite being foam, the axes are well constructed.
