The 6th grade level is Course 1. Using the same approach and format found in the previous levels of the course, students will learn about positive and negative numbers, multiplying and dividing fractions and decimals, ratios and rates, percents, algebraic expressions, equations and inequalities, coordinate plane, perimeter, area, volume, statistics, and measures of central tendency. The homeschool kit includes the hardcover teacher edition and hardcover student edition (nonconsumable text) for one semester. The assessment book is sold separately and includes content for both semesters. Extra Practice books for each semester and a Blackline Activities book is available but optional.

Singapore Math by Cavendish
I like this math program very much. It's challenging, but very thorough in its coverage. The workbooks are a great supplement for working toward mastery.

Why did you choose this?
The problems and activities in these books are so helpful. I like the format of a paperback book that my child can write in, rather than copying all of the problems onto another sheet of paper.
Gift for 6th grade teacher.
As a former public school teacher, I have to say that this is the best math program I have ever used.
