Publisher's Description of 45 United States Presidents Character Writing Worksheets D'Nealian Intermediate Print
History is important for us to remember as it prepares us for the future and reminds us from where we came. Through interesting & little known facts, and the president's own quotes, your child can learn the big and small details about American history all while practicing their handwriting skills.
These spiral-bound worksheets are a wonderful way to
accomplish two goals: handwriting practice and history reinforcement! U.S.
Presidents are covered in chronological order, with 3 pages of handwriting
practice for each. Black and white portrait pictures of each president are
followed by lined spaces to practice copying their names and dates in office, famous
quotes, bio sketches, and fun facts. Books are available in three handwriting
styles, D'Nealian, Getty-Dubay Italic, and Zaner-Bloser. Each style comes in
three levels – basic print, beginning cursive, and advanced cursive. New to the
series in 2019 are the intermediate and advanced printing workbooks
(for grades 3-6 and 6+). Intermediate print lines are .5 inch with a
dotted midline. Advanced print lines are 1 cm wide with a dotted midline.
Books lay flat and use a high-quality paper that will stand up to some erasing.
Note: None of these books contain instruction in handwriting, only practice.
