Category Description for My Big Book Of... Series

There are 2 books in this series so far: Counting to 100 and Colors.

Counting to 100 Delight in counting and searching for colorful images in this large-format board book for the littles. The pages are graphically delicious, with high contrast and vibrant tones. You can just count the objects, or you can ask the reader to find the yellow fish among many, the kitten hiding on the umbrella page, or follow the anchor lines to the correct boats. The challenges get harder as you move through the book, so you have a goal to work towards. I especially liked the question, "Which fish looks the happiest?" There is so much to see and learn!

Colors shows a lovely collection of red items all on one great big 2-page spread (and then orange, then yellow, etc.) Objects are illustrated on a white background to pack a graphic punch. Play a game of I Spy or respond to the questions on the page asking you to make pairs or point to all the foods. The large format is just fun and unique for this age group. ~Sara
