A tactile and visual way to learn or review parts of speech, these puzzles will build your first- and second-grade students’ knowledge of language. Each puzzle is broken up into four pieces, with two pieces showing connected words and the other two showing corresponding pictures. Students can use both the words and the pictures to complete the puzzles and review parts of speech. This method encourages reading practice while also offering clues in the pictures to help students who are not confident readers to still understand the concept. Each box contains 48 pieces that connect to form 12 individual puzzles, each of which are about 5” x 3.5” when completed.
