What a nifty wooden calendar! Not only do you learn about the months of the year, days of the month and days of the week, you also learn about the changing seasons, track the type of weather conditions outside, the time of day (morning, afternoon, evening), and even learn to tell time on a clock. The graphics are colorful and have a whimsical charm. The numbers, days of the week, and months are clear and easy to read. Each activity has an adjustable wooden slider or dial to turn to the appropriate date, day, month, time, season, or weather condition. This is a fun, interactive way to introduce children to new concepts and life skills. Calendar board measures 12x 12. ~ Emily
Publisher's Description of All About Today Board Calendar
All-in-one teaching aide tells children how to tell time-- hours and minutes plus days of the week, months, seasons, weather, days in the month, plus morning, afternoon, and night. Brightly colored dials, slide bars, and clock hands. Hangs easily on the wall as well! Recommended for ages over 3 years.
This "All About Today Board" is perfect for a homeschool setting. I purchased this board as part of my four year old nephew's curriculum while his preschool was closed during the Covid-19 pandemic. The only dislike I have is that the first day of the week is Monday, instead of Sunday; my nephew's preschool teaches the days of the week beginning with Sunday. Otherwise, the wooden, brightly colored board introduces the time of day (i.e. morning, afternoon, evening), hour and minute hands of a clock, days of the week, months of the year, numbers 1-31, weather, and seasons.

Awesome!
I really do love the look and feel of this board. My only problem has been how easy it was for my 3 year old to break one piece off- she found the slider to be difficult to move and pulled too hard. Even with the one piece broken, both little ones (3 yr old and almost 5 yr old) have been using this board almost daily, both planning the future (excited about the upcoming birthday) and exploring what today is like.

Does this have a stand attached to it so it stands on its own?
Hannah K
This board is flat with no other attachments. I have to hold the board with two hands as my four year old nephew adjusts the wooden slides.
