Clifford's Family
Doggedly digging up his roots, Clifford visits his city-dwelling mother; his brother who works at a fire station; his sister, a seeing-eye dog; and his second sister, a farm dog.
Clifford loves his family and misses them, so Emily Elizabeth takes him to visit his mother and siblings in turn! Clifford's RESPECT for his family shows through in the way he makes time to see them.
Stephen used to love the Clifford books when he was younger. I'm not sure what it is about the idea of a friendly red dog the size of a house that is so appealing to young children, but the stories are funny and wholesome, and the list of adventures and trouble a huge but well-meaning pet can get into are endless. We've listed a few of the older classic books here - if they like them as much as Stevie did, we'll add more!
