Help your child learn French

From colors, numbers and fruits to animals, sports and weather, just about every subject in the French language is covered in eye-catching, illustrative detail. French for Everyone Junior presents your child with five new words to learn and practice each day for four days, then tests these words through a variety of interactive exercises at the end of the week. Over the course of one year, your child will build up a vocabulary of more than 1000 French words.

This unique French teaching guide encourages parents, teachers and children to work together as a team to grasp all aspects of the French language. Incredibly easy to use, it includes daily “test yourself” activities with cleverly designed flaps that hide the words your child has just learned, and helps ingrain those words in their memory. Accompanying audio means that kids are also able to practice their French pronunciation as many times as they want.
Category Description for __ For Everyone Junior

You WILL learn new vocabulary with this series. You will NOT, however, be fluent after one book. That said, what a low-key way to explore new languages with your young learners! Students can use the books independently using the free audio component and the self-correcting flaps. You really do need the audio for correct pronunciation as there is no phonetic help shown with the words. There is a list each day to interact with and pages are clearly labelled with week 1-day 1, week 1-day 2, etc. You use the inside part of the front and back covers as flaps to test yourself on the pages. It's a clever design. You could use something like this with a program such as SongSchool Spanish or Whistlefritz French to expand your repertoire. But I quite like the idea of using them as language exploration to see if your student would like to take a deeper dive into a language. Consumable. ~Sara
