Description

Do you have what it takes to get ahead in the time of the stone age? Only the best planners will come out on top in this worker placement game. Use your population wisely to gather resources, hunt, construct more huts, populate your village, improve your farming efficiency, build better tools, and discover civilization technology – all in the name of scoring the most victory points. But building a thriving village community is no easy task. Hunger is an ever-present threat as you will lose hard-earned resources and points if you can't feed your workforce! Other players can also read your actions and block your efforts if you don't plan ahead, as allocating workers is a round-robin affair and action spaces are limited. You can divide up your workers however you like, and more workers to harvest a resource means a better chance of gathering more. With numerous ways to gain points, how will you strategize your victory? Will you prioritize farming methods, making your population easier to feed? Will you use your superior tools to harvest more resources? Will you win with an overwhelming population of workers? Or will you do a bit of everything? Gamers who enjoy planning and management will get their fill in this strategy rich game! For 2-4 players, with a playing time of 60-90 minutes.

Publisher's Description of Stone Age Game
Life was hard in the early days of human history. Our ancestors were hard workers, but through ingenuity learned to make much of this work easier. Over time, they developed tools to collect resources and develop human civilization. In Stone Age, you take on the role of a human in this bygone era. Beginning with archaic tools, you collect wood, stone, and gold to attain higher levels of knowledge and build sturdier structures. With resources being scarce, you must compete for the limited number of spaces on the board that produce them while also gathering food to feed your growing tribe. Through diligence and insight, you can forge your way through the early days of recorded history and build the foundation of human civilization.
