While this text spans the
Fall of Israel through the life of Christ, the authors root the study in
lessons on God’s love, judgment, and hope for Ancient Israel. Beginning with
Jeremiah, several lessons focus on God’s judgment on Israel. Then, lessons
focus on God saving and defending His Glory through individuals like Daniel.
Then, we return with Ezra and Nehemiah and Israel to the promised land. After a
lesson on the 400 years of silence, lessons are pulled from the four Gospels
and highlight the beginning of Jesus’ miracles, signs, and teachings. Chapter
4, 5, and 16 questions were directly adapted from lessons in the Answers Bible
Curriculum. Core questions from lessons 22 and 34 were adapted from the
Westminster Catechism. 257 pgs, pb. Ruth
