Intended for use with Apologia's Advanced Physics in Creation and assembled by Nature's Workshop, this kit contains: golf ball, scissors, thread, measuring tape, clear tape, 4 #2 pencils, matchbook, wooden ruler, paper cup, 2 small nails, 3 Styrofoam cups, 5 paper clips, stopwatch, 3-inch iron nail, small block of wood, 3 ping pong balls, nylon string, 4 ¾-inch washers, 3 Ziploc bags, double-sided tape, 3 wooden matches, cardboard tube, mini flashlight, thick lead pencil, slinky, single pulley, Celsius thermometer, funnel, comb, 6 large balloons, 3 d-cell batteries, medium-sized marble, and black construction paper. There are still items you will need to provide for the experiments, but this kit gives you some of the harder to find items. Items are not packaged by lesson, as in some of the other Apologia lab kits; a packing sheet is included with a list of the kit contents. ~ Donna

This second physics course from Apologia covers kinematics, dynamics, rotational motion, gravity, oscillations, waves, optics, themal physics, electrical forces, electrical potential, DC circuits, magnetic forces, atomic physics, and nuclear physics, with special relativity and general relativity for dessert. Prerequisites include trigonometry and a previous course in physics. Course consists of the softcover student text and the solutions and test manual. All illustrations are in black and white. No special lab equipment or materials are needed, as household items are used in the labs.

Completing at home.

My high schooler chose to take Advanced Physics this year. I thought it would be a lot easier on me to just get the lab kit than to try to find all the pieces myself.

We purchased this to go along with the Advanced Physics in Creation Set curriculum.
