This is a one-time purchase of assessments for all 8 levels
of Megawords that will help you identify where to accurately place your student
within the program based on their current skills. This is a helpful tool for
older students who are struggling with their spelling skills and could benefit
from the six-step approach found in Megawords. This resource can also be used
to assess your students throughout the levels to evaluate how they are
retaining information and progressing through the program. Assessments are
reproducible for your homeschool or classroom use. 21 pgs, spiral-bound.

The third edition (copyright 2025) changes are once again
minimal in terms of content. Trigger words have been removed from lists and
activities throughout the practice pages. No new words have been added, and
activities have not been changed. Reading Comprehension sections at the end of
each lesson have been updated in language and format but the story and words
used have not changed. There is an added critical thinking question to each
reading comprehension section, and answers will vary.
Megawords spelling program still teaches from the Six-Step
Teaching Approach that is facilitated through reading and writing and
presented in fun and engaging multisensory activities. The Consumable
Student Workbook is printed in black and white. The lightly scripted Teacher
Edition explains the six-step approach to teaching Megawords and contains
reduced student pages with answers and reproducible pages for your student or
class.
If you are uncertain where to place your student in the
program, the Assessment book is a one-time purchase and can be utilized
and reproduced for every level, but is not necessary for the completion of this
program. ~Rebecca
