Designed for extra practice, handwriting guidelines in the beginning of the book are 5/16" wide with dotted middles and there are fourteen practice lines per page. Toward the end of the book, pages have a notebook paper appearance and the lines no longer have dotted middles. A cursive letter formation guide is provided.
Correct practice makes perfect. This book will give your child many practices in cursive writing to strengthen his mastery of his writing skills. A cursive formation guide is included at the front of the book as an aid for correct formation, and size of letters as well as numbers. Towards the end of the book, your child will be writing paragraphs in notebook layout pages.
Handwriting instruction is found in the Writing with Phonics 2 workbook and is correlated with language arts instruction. The 2nd Grade Writing Tablet provides additional practice. The Language Arts 2 Homeschool Curriculum (009890) includes writing lessons that reference the cursive materials.
