Category Description for 4d Human Anatomy Models/Puzzles

Are they a puzzle or a model? While we're still not sure which application will provide the most enjoyment, we absolutely love these detailed, reasonably priced anatomy models that you can put together, take apart, and build again! Each model is made up of approximately 30 pieces (although some may already be assembled in the packaging) and each stands about 5" tall. The pieces are all painted realistically, include small display stands, and come with very basic assembly guides. The heart model features four "doors" that swing out and allow you to see the inside chambers of the heart, while the eye model comes complete with all the muscles that hold the eyeball in place and the lacrimal gland too. The head model shows one side of the head with muscle, and one side of the head with bone, while the skull shows how the brain fits inside the skull and the spinal cord as well. The human body (torso) model features removable organs, a segment of the spinal cord and back muscles, removable ribs and a bisected head for a look at several body systems. The ear model depicts the inner, outer and middle ear. - Jess

Great plastic but horrid to put together
The parts are made of quality Plastic, but they don't lock together well. There are no instructions so your left guessing the best order to put together, as it comes apart in your hands, causing kids and parents frustration after frustration. Don't recommend, there has to be better models out there for this price,

Thrilled my grandson!
My 7 year old grandson picked this out. After reading the reviews about how hard the pieces are to put together, I told my grandson. He said "That's ok. Papa & I can do it! It won't be a problem." Right after, he unwrapped it, he started assembling it, and he had no complaints. If he's happy, I'm happy! Needless to say, it was a good investment.

Nice Idea, Terrible Execution
It does contain all the components listed, but they don't hold together well & the included instructions are useless. I also have difficulty seeing how this could stand on it's own. Very disappointed.

good but difficult!
Very nicely shaped and colored, high quality - our 8 yr old LOVES it! BUT- extremely hard to put together. Two adults worked with him on it for a long time and still couldn't get it perfect. Directions are NOT helpful. I think it must be meant to be glued and never disassembled.

Good visually, but the pieces don’t clip together securely
This is a fun hands-on display, but we were pretty disappointed that the pieces failed miserably to stay fastened together.

Great Try - But. . .
Anatomically the parts are great - but -there are unfortunately inadequate assembly instructions - AND the parts don't click together and hold - some sort of additional attachment mechanism is required - like glue - if you can figure out how to lay out the pieces in the clear plastic case. Significantly more work by company needed on the assembly.

Very nice and realistic plastic model
When assembled, the model is very nice and is fairly representative of the human body. However, one needs to be mechanically inclined and have patience. The parts reasonably fit together; you may have to fidget with them to make them work. I strongly suggest that you acquaint yourself with all the parts before the assembly. Lastly, you will need both the instruction manual and the picture on the box to ensure all the pieces are assembled in the right place.
