Z is tired of always having to go last when the alphabet family lines up. Z takes charge of the letters and starts to rearrange them, but it gets messy when they don't all cooperate. Along the way, there is a lot of vocabulary such as R is for raindrops & rainbow, D is for dragon & damsel in distress and G is for green garden & great gorilla, in that order which is wonky and fun! Z gets frustrated and can't find the A, which came last. It's cute. The letters all ask, "Can we go back to normal now?" It's a funny book to read aloud with children who know alphabetical order and can appreciate the silliness.
