To win as Boba Fett, players must complete 4 Bounties to maintain his place as the Galactic Empire's greatest Bounty Hunter. Seventh Sister must remove the three Rebel Heroes - Ahsoka Tano, Kanan Jarrus, and Ezra Bridger - from the game. Cad Bane must collect 5 Target tokens by defeating Heroes that have Targets placed on them by his Allies.

Each player chooses a villain, and each villain has a specific objective that must be met in order to win the game. Players can slow down their opponents by making them face-off with Jedis and other powerful characters. The Power of the Dark side game is the base game; although, the others in the series can be played independently or be mixed and matched with each other.
