My son actually enjoys math because of this.
My 6yr old son has told me multiple times that he really likes this curriculum. I grew up not enjoying math & wanting to stay away from it as much as possible so for my child to say he enjoys it feels like such a victory. I appreciate the slower approach to this curriculum. There are days when the page he is working on might be a challenge for him & days where he can zip through. I haven't used any of the links provided in the book but may when he takes a little break from school in the winter to help keep him motivated. I had tried another math curriculum before this one & it required a lot of "extras" where I was having to prep a lot ahead of time. I have two kids in different grades & I work so I need a curriculum that is open & shut & finding this one, which is in depth & doesn't cut corners, has been such a help in our day. Highly recommend.

So far so good! There isn't much written instruction so be prepared to teach your child the skills if they do not know them bur all in all we are loving it. It's challenging and I don't mind teaching the kids hands on. If you are looking for something with instruction, this isn't it. However, the skills they learn and practice are unmatched.

We like math mammoth. I like how they have a chapter of Kinder review. My little one transitioned and so far is understanding the materials in chapter 1. The only reason I didnt give all 5 stars was that I wished it would be spiraled bound. It would be easier to write and flip pages.

Love the mastery approach
It's working great for our family. My son is struggling with math so we are going back a couple levels to get caught up in I think this is going to be great for him to build those foundational skills.

Very nice and to the point, but starts slow for any kiddos who are mathy or are working a bit ahead of grade level.

It seems like a solid, well laid out program to make sure my son knows the basics. I am using it like a multivitamin. It makes sure we are getting what we miss from our daily playing with math

We truly love MathMammoth and all our kids have dramatically improved in their math skills. I will never switch to another program. I must say that a little color goes a long way though! We have the CD and print out the books since our cost of printing is so low, but it's a pain to be printing math for the 5 who are still in elementary grades and all doing MathMammoth. The color books are so expensive which is tragic since the color really makes a significantly positive difference. That is my thought. Maybe some people don't mind the black and white versions but my kids sure appreciate the little bit of color in the color version.

We LOVE math mammoth! We have tried Singapore, math u see, and Ive spent hours researching before switching again. My daughter loves doing it and its nice she can read and do the lesson without much help.

Ive loved using Math Mammoth for my kids, but hated having to print and organize it myself. I love having the workbook format and it keeps everything easily organized for my multiple homeschooled kids.

This curriculum says it teaches the "why" behind math, not just the "how." It also comes with a lot of great, free resources.
