We have been using this reading curriculum since we started Homeschooling in 1st grade I really like the way this book and workbooks review phonics introduce new words to add to their vocabulary the stories are easy to read and not boring and then they have a thinking about the story page for reading comprehension My son is doing excellent at reading and I really think it is this easy but thorough program I recommend it all the time to fellow homeschool moms You can not beat the price of the books period but Rainbow Resource always has them at an even better price Thank you!

These readers are amazing My daughter is interested in reading them and she is now reading fluently The stories are interesting and there are new words listed at the bottom of each page so that you can discuss them before a child tries to read them Also the companion workbook is great It reinforces spelling skills as well as reading comprehension This is an extremely well done set and I expect us to continue using it up through the last one
