This kit contains all of the required manipulatives (but no optional items) for Saxon Math Grade K (please refer to the Manipulatives Overview button above for details), plus an upgrade to a set of 250 wooden pattern blocks (to replace the plastic set of 100 pattern blocks included in the standard kits).

The Teacher’s Manual contains the actual lesson plans and information vital to the effective presentation of math concepts. The consumable Meeting Books are used during the teacher-student “meeting” in
which concepts are introduced, demonstrated, and practiced. The Math
K Home Study Kit contains the teacher edition and meeting book. There
are no workbooks for this level.
Homeschooling my daughter as she is 10 days shy of the kindergarten cutoff and was really looking forward to going to school with her big sister.
This kit is just over $3 cheaper than purchasing all the individual supplies separately.
