This book is full of reproducible worksheets about the media-centered age we live in. The exercises and activities included teach children to discern the messages they find in media as well as how to use different forms of media most effectively. Activities include things like a media forms word search, magazine ad analysis, and an oral presentation. Answers for activities are found in the back. These activity sheets will also help prepare children to use computers as tools now and in the future, as they analyze some types of website content (under the teacher's supervision), and complete some graphic design projects (by hand or on a computer). Spread these as fun worksheets out over the course of a semester, or work through the book consecutively as a small media literacy class. 120 pages, pb. - Laura
