mom, this game-oriented phonics program is sure to be a hit for those active
children who would rather be playing a game than completing a workbook page.
But any child will benefit from this well-constructed, hands-on phonics program.
The package includes a Teacher’s Guidebook, a 76-page beginning reader,
flashcards, game components, other first little readers, and spelling lists.
The Teacher’s Guidebook includes straightforward instructions that are easy to
follow. The 28 games are on brightly colored cardstock. Just look at the
symbols in the guidebook to match the color-coded games with the instructions. There
are eight simple steps to complete as students’ progress through the program.
The author also recommends using the Explode the Code workbooks and has
presented the letters and letter combinations in the same order as these
workbooks. She also mentions using other reading material such as Bob Books.
This easy to use, complete phonics program is available in print or digital
