Focus on Geology Elementary Package (hardcover)
This semester long curriculum package includes hardcover textbook, softcover lab notebook, softcover teacher manual, and lesson plans in PDF format. The hardcover textbook provides bigger font and colorful illustrations throughout the text. The consumable lab notebook contains all the experiments. Guidance for the experiments is in the teacher manual. Lesson plans, a 20-page downloadable PDF, allow you to create a schedule that works best for your family.
This bundle introduces students in grades K-4 to geology concepts such as rocks, minerals, soils, the atmosphere, the biosphere, the magnetosphere, volcanoes and earthquakes, and Earth as a system. Students will explore volcanoes, the weather, using tools, how to observe geological features, how to test for minerals, the interacting systems that make up Earth, and more.
This bundle includes three books plus a digital lesson plan:

My kids are interested in earth sciences and this seems like a good one to start with.

My son is wanting to cover Geology and this seems to really fit his wishes.
We have completed Chemistry, Biology, and Physics in this series and find it to be a good science curriculum for us.
