Whether you love nature studies or want to learn more about how
to engage in nature study, these resources are for you! What’s more, they are a
treasure! The author, Jane Lambert, is also the author of Five in a Row unit
studies. These supplements can be used completely separate from FIAR unit studies
or you can bring them alongside. One book focuses on spring and summer while the
other focuses on fall and winter. The structure is the same for both. The
author spent a lot of time outdoors with her own children and a lot of the
artwork and paintings are her own. The first part of each book walks you
through ways to study nature for all ages and in specific seasons. She even
lists resources, tools, and field guides for nature studies and journaling.
Then she shows you how to incorporate animals, trees & plants, rocks,
weather, poetry, art, and music into your nature studies. Scripture throughout
each book reminds us how we can see God in every season. Reproducible
journaling pages (for family use only) are included for each season. Blank log
lists allow you to keep track of when and where you see birds, trees, and
insects. Use these resources from front to back or pick topics you want to focus
