The Video Course – Family License features Joey Hajda
(one of the textbook authors) teaching through the Friendly Driver’s Ed
Textbook material. He uses engaging PowerPoint slides with his voiceover,
writing on the slides like a whiteboard as he teaches. This can be so helpful
for students struggling with reading or comprehension, who could benefit from
hearing the material presented to them. You will have unlimited access to the
videos for your family; they don’t ever expire and can be passed on to each of
your kids as they grow!
This course covers everything a parent wants their child to
understand before driving and then some! It truly prepares students from the
ground up, explaining how all the major components of a vehicle work before
getting into the safe operation and maintenance of a vehicle. Honestly, as an adult driver, I was amazed at
how many things made sense to me for the first time! The Student Textbook
is packed with colorful diagrams and detailed pictures, making concepts easy to
understand. Although it wasn’t designed to fulfill any specific state
requirements, the book is thorough in helping prepare for licensing exams. Use
it alongside your state handbook for a well-rounded course! The optional Video
Course – Family License features Joey Hajda (one of the authors) teaching using
engaging PowerPoint slides with his voiceover. This course can be completed in
1 semester or spread over the course of the year for a slower pace.
