The Degree in a Book series appears to take the essential topics of an individual subject and break them down into nuggets of information that are easy to process and understand. What the product becomes is a course that is a great introduction to the subject at hand! The books are filled with text and illustrations, feature spreads, information boxes, suggestions for further reading, and more. They are structured in normal book format, and do not look like a standard course text, so there are no comprehension questions, quizzes/tests, and no teacher material. Assigning written essays, interactive notebooking, or composing your own quizzes and tests, would not be hard to do given the amount of information presented in these books. Each softbound book has 256 pages.
