Beginning algebra topics: expressions, equations, and inequalities.
Decimal and Fraction Arithmetic Review with a focus on fraction division.
Introduction to ratios and percent.
Prime factorization, GCF, and LCM.
Integers, coordinate grid and addition & subtraction of integers.
Geometry: review of quadrilaterals & drawing problems; area of triangles & polygons; volume of rectangular prisms with fractional edge lengths; surface area.
Statistics: concept of distribution, measures of center, measures of variation, summarizing distributions, boxplots, stem-and-leaf plots, histograms.
Each grade level requires two Student Worktexts-one
per semester-which includes the instruction and math problems in one, and
the Answer Key containing answers to the Worktexts and Tests. The Test/
Cumulative Review Book is recommended. Grade Level Packages consist of
four components: Student Worktexts A & B, the Tests/Cumulative Reviews
Book, and the Answer Key.
