Breaking the French Barrier is a solid option for
independent high school French instruction. There are 3 levels – Beginner,
Intermediate, and Advanced. Each level is a strong high school foreign language
credit.
Students will learn speaking, listening, reading and writing
skills from the beginning. Most students will spend 45 minutes to an hour, 3-4
times per week, to finish one level in one school year. No previous French
study is necessary.

(absolutely essential, 1 per student)

lessons (required, send via email, not a credit without the worktext)
Answer Key Booklet (highly
recommended, students can check their own work)
Testing Program (highly
recommended for a high school student doing this for a credit)

(handy, but I still recommend a student bilingual dictionary)
