I started this course last year while my niece was taking Algebra I She thought she would just breeze through Module A After three or four lessons she realized she would need to pay more attention to the instructors I loved it!The course comes with: 1 A complete set of DVD's 2 An Instructor's Guide with detailed solutions for progress tests 3 Well written concise course notes 4 A student work text 5 A solutions manual for the work text and 6 Progress testsOne of the nice things about this course is the ability to give any lesson or take a test another time when something is not understood For each lesson I assign the even number problems If a problem was not understood we can restudy the work text course notes her notes and even watch the DVD again When I think that she is ready I have her do the odd numbered problems The bonus to this method is she pays attention to the materials the first time -- making life easier on both of us The progress tests are available as Test A or Test B If she had any difficulty with one of the tests we find the problem area restudy that section and take the other test All but Module D had review sections that we used as practice tests With all of this redundancy she felt confident upon completion of any section Obviously not all of the reviews and retakes are necessary but they sure are nice to have when we needed them
