Written in the conversational style of Hillyer's Child's Geography of the World, this introductory geography study incorporates engaging text and a variety of activities to bring geography alive. Geography of the earth is approached as if you and your children were taking a journey through and around the earth, learning everything about the Earth as a whole, as well as the individual continents and countries as you journey through each volume. This series is currently being updated by Master Books, so please contact us to verify the in-stock editions.If you are familiar with the previous edition, you will notice that much of the readings are the same. Visually and organizationally, there are notable differences in the Master Book editions from the introductory information and recommended 3-day per week schedule, updated graphics, and reproducible (for your family) worksheets. As someone who used the first editions of these volumes, I greatly appreciate Master Book's efforts to make them more user-friendly, as well as to add more vibrant illustrations to engage learners (and parents!)
