Where Faith Grows Level 2, a unique homeschool Bible curriculum by Master Books, provides you the opportunity to teach the attributes of God and godly character traits to your elementary students. You will guide your student's faith journey through reading aloud, discussion prompts, hands-on activities, memorization, and assignments.
Where Faith Grows becomes a tool in your hand as you lead your child into all God has for them. Level 2 works to continue building on what was covered in Level 1. The purpose of both levels is to create a strong foundation in understanding who God is and how He works in our lives. Within Level 2, you will also see an introduction to basic Bible skills and keeping a prayer journal.
Written by a second-generation home schooler with a passion for God's Word and for discipling a generation, this series focuses on God's Word, work, and character, and those traits which we also emulate as His children. In 15-30 minutes daily, students spend time in lessons that follow a regular pattern from week to week and will vary from level to level, but will work on understanding, absorbing, and applying Biblical principles. Weekly, students will learn a hymn and a Scripture verse. Periodically, in each level, the book will "check-in" with your student and encourage taking a photo of them engaged in the learning activities to glue in their book or journal. When the course is complete, both you and your child can look back on how much they've learned and grown. Each level introduces a new friend who guides you through the curriculum while you read and memorize directly from Scripture, journalling with provided prompts, and more.
No separate teacher book is needed: includes a suggested schedule, scope and sequence, supplemental resources, lesson-by-lesson supply list of fairly common household items, hymn list, Scripture verses, journal pages, and more. Because of the high personalization and activity engagement in this worktext, you may want to pull the student pages out and place them in a 3-ring binder. See individual descriptions for further details. Future levels will span to Level 6. Uses NASB 1995; NIRV © 2014. Consumable student books are 3-hole punched and perforated. 380+ pgs, pb. ~ Ruth
