Teaching the whole counsel of God's Word through Answers in
Genesis 7 C's of History, the Answers Bible Curriculum Homeschool Edition teaches
children about God's trustworthiness, His attributes, and the ultimate plan of
salvation, covering the Old and New Testament over four years. The goal of the
curriculum is for families to study the Scriptures together. Lessons are age-appropriate
to equip children to defend their beliefs and apply the Bible to their lives. Teaching
time varies from 25-45 minutes per week, with independent student activity
pages scheduled. The ESV Bible is utilized. There are two core components for each
year: The all-in-one Teacher Guide and the Student Workbook. There
is an optional grade-level Test Book and Answer Key. Additionally, there are
recommended posters to supplement the teaching. Posters are available separately
or packaged together in the Teacher Guide (with Extras) Bundle. Also
included with purchase of the Teacher Guide with Extras Bundle are supplemental
online resources. Online resources are for a lifetime, but only for the level
purchased.
Year 1 of the Answers Bible Homeschool Curriculum from
Answers in Genesis covers creation, the fall of man, the global flood,
the judgment at Babel, and the lives of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph.
Required for the year is the all-in-one Teacher Guide with teaching support for
kindergarten through 5th grade learners, and the consumable grade-level
Student Workbook. Optional, but highly recommended, are the Year 1 Extras:
Books of the Bible poster, Attributes of God poster, and the History of Genesis
Timeline poster. These are available separately or in a bundle with the Teacher
Guide, which also includes access to the online supplemental video lessons and
audio memory songs. A grade-level optional Test Book is also available. Answers
to the Student Workbook are found in the Test Book.
