Effective and Easy to Use
Pros: Open-and-go scripted lessons, plenty of practice and review, lessons succinct and just the right amount of new material, graphics are fun and not too busy.

Cons: Lessons may seem redundant and lengthy for students who are gifted in math, but it is simple enough to modify and skip things the student picks up on before the lesson is complete.

Kate Snows math curriculums lay the best and most enjoyable math foundations.

Great conceptual teaching, and super easy for the teacher!

I've used MWC 1st grade with 2 kids and all 4 Math Facts that Stick with 2 kids and love them!

How many pages are in the student workbook?

254 pages

Want to move into level 3. Wondering if any children didn’t get the double digit mental math down and or have all facts memorized? If so, are you planning to move forward with the third level.

We're moving forward with the 3rd level even though we didn't finish the 2nd grade one. The reasoning is that math with confidence does a really nice recap, which helps ease into the next levels and can fill in gaps or provide more practice where needed. That being said, if your child is struggling with half of the content or more, I would think about some kind of practice program between levels. Hope this helps!

Could this be used as review over the summer without the teacher volume? We're almost finished with MUS Beta.

Most of the pages could be used as a stand alone math review without the instructor book, but there are also many pages that require you to follow instructions that are included in the instructor guide. The student book is intended to be used with the instructor guide and you will not be able to use all of the pages in the student book without it. Those pages just wouldn’t make sense without the the instructor guide.
