comprehension. This book contains 42 reading exercises, each followed by a
comprehension quiz based on stated facts, implications, or general reasoning.
The first four selections are intended to be teacher guided for explanation and
discussion. They should be read orally and discussed. The remaining 38
selections are timed readings designed to be read independently. Instructions
on how to administer the Skills Sheets and answer key are included. The pages
are perforated and consumable. Answers are also found in the Reading
