The Explorer Academy book series is inspired in part by real cutting-edge National Geographic explorers out in the front lines doing research. The author, Trudi Trueit, has always loved adventure books and is inspired to share that love through the words she pens in these adventure novels. Others on the team of creators are a code designer, illustrator, and graphic artist, making these books visually stimulating, and mentally engaging. The reader will meet fictional character 12-year-old Cruz Coronado, a boy headed away from his home in Hawaii.
