This set from KEVA includes all you need to create ball ramps, car ramps, a reversal lever, swinging lever, action lever, a bowling pin strike and bell house. The little bowling pin is adorable, made from wood and 3” high! Children are encouraged to come up with an idea and then try it out. Didn’t work? Make changes and try it again. Design your own creations or use the photos in the guide. I love that no glue or batteries are required! ~Sara
Publisher's Description of KEVA Contraptions Reactions
Get the fun rolling with this unique set that includes traditional KEVA planks, special colored planks and a variety of unique pieces to set off chain reactions. Builders can set up their contraptions to cause reactions like ringing a bell, knocking over a bowling pin and more. Build a course and see if the pieces react as you predict!
Is it fair to say that the weapons of old seem much more innovative, and in better sport, than modern weapons? Perhaps that is why they are so fascinating. These kits provide all the necessary pieces to construct (and fire!) your very own mini catapult and trebuchet, using KEVA planks. Simply follow the step-by-step directions (complete with illustrations) for assembly, using the pieces and wood glue (included) no other tools are necessary. After your structure dries, it is ready to fire! Artillery in the form of mini beanbags or lightweight plastic balls (similar to ping-pong balls) is included, firing instructions and tips and target markers are also provided. Constructed catapult measures approximately 9.5" x 12" x 15", trebuchet measures approximately 9.5" x 15" x 11."
