Why did you choose this?
Is the entire book as intensely partisan as the sample pages, beginning with page 270 about Donald Trump?
In a word, yes. It has great photos and lots of interesting facts. It's more "even" at the beginning, but by the time it gets to the 1960s, in my opinion, it starts framing issues and people in a partisan fashion.

This is not a hardcover, but it is heavier soft cover book.
