This is a survey course of World History, rather than a focused study of a certain period. It is full of color photographs and graphics to help the reader. Interesting short biographies are sprinkled throughout. It presents the origins of world religions in a fair manner and even includes excerpts from a variety of religious documents. There is a nice section of colorful maps in the back for student reference. A glossary shows definitions in both English and Spanish. Each course option is for a full school year and counts for 1 high school credit. Choose from several options for American history, world history, world geography, government, civics, economics, psychology, or sociology. Check out the table of contents and sample pages for detailed coverage of each course. Components include hardcover student text (1 or 2), teacher edition (1-6 volumes per course, includes text answers), and some titles offer a student workbook with a separate answer key. There is no digital content with these courses.
